VIDEOGRAPHY & STAGE MANAGEMENT
Over 4 years, I documented & co-produced over 30 shows in assorted
spaces around Boston, put on by fellow students and myself at the
Studio for Interrelated Media. I continued this practice when a few friends
and myself started the Junk Drawer, a house show venue for local bands.
The Junk Drawer Collective was started with Max Ryan, Onyx Raia, Zac Rea, and Owen Greenfield, before adding members Kay Ehwa (myself) and Megan Ross. The collective focuses on producing innovative performances and building connection in the local Boston artists community.
In the Studio for Interrelated Media (SIM) undergraduate program at Massart, I documented shows using a rig of industry standard cameras and switchers, often using a 3-5 camera rig with multiple operators I was show calling to.
When continueing my work in post-grad life, I began to shoot with small handheld gimble cameras, smaller DSLRs, and have recently purchased a BlackMagic Switcher of my own (nowhere near the power of my undergrad setup but hey, a tech can dream). I have continued to shoot video for Junk Drawer and for Northeastern Universithy's Athletic Department.
